Shebby Singh - His apology was not instigated by the owners but rather by a contingent of players, who incidentally have no nice words for supporters and are very much Keanites. With the season a week away Shebby decided an apology would be best after a couple of tongue in cheek statements were taken literally.
The 3 game and out rule. This has been totally taken out of context as the full recording
(Trying to sort legals
) will show. He actually said that targets have been set and are high standard and anyone who does not reach that standard, will see their jobs under pressure. He stated back to back defeats in the early part of the season would see Kean go, whilst someone said what happens if we lose three on trot, and Shebby said Kean would be sacked. He never said Kean has 3 matches to save his job. He made it clear he has the power to sack Kean on what he does now, but not on what has happened in the past.
The FA investigation has been accelerated today, and rovers are speaking with the FA.
Crowd- Philip Moulton is now head of security, the remit to the health and safety team is to eject any supporter, who chants Kean out etc, they will find the instigators who start the chants and remove them. This season will be a zero tolerance, the club will NOT faciliatate legal protest and will look for banning orders on any thing they can make stick.
Transfers- These have taken a big halt due to representation talking with the FA, Shebby will personally speak with Huddersfield now, as the player wants to sign, and he has had two letters from huddersfield saying player not for sale,He aint giving up.
Guidetti was offered to rovers, not the other way around, but after initially having a slight interest as a back up to Rhodes, the club have decided not to explore this as other targets look more interesting.
Now here are the names of some we are looking at, Chamakh on a possible loan, the question is being asked, and its a case of see if Arsenal are interested and if indeed the player is, be a great coup this.
Marcus Berg- His career has not taken off in Germany but his performances a couple of years back make him a possible target.
Macheda- Is one a bid could be made on, United would cash in at the right price and this is a better option than Guidetti
Ricardo Vaz Te- Has been pushed down the pecking order at West Ham, his exploits last season have not gone un-noticed and with the portugese contingent at rovers, he may be a good buy at a good price
Ebanks Blake- Is a player who went off the radar in the prem, but pound for pound is considered a top championship player. The player would welcome a transfer and at around £3 Million is tempting
Ante Vukusic - Is a player with immense talent, with Rovers now having good links in croatia,
(Will appoint a new croatian fitness coach when work permit arrives
) He is seen as a goalscorer with good feet and good value.
Mohammed Abdellaoue- Been monitored by many top clubs in the past, scores goals wherever he goes and could be an option if the price is right, playing in Germany and doing well has him fitting the profile, our links in Germany are good
Jozey Altidore- Beginning to mature as player and has english experience, strong as an ox, quick and would be interested in move to England.
Which way rovers swing is unknown at present, Rhodes number 1 target as exclusively revealed days before the rest, as was the size of the bid, and wage package. Guidetti was target 2, but has cooled, Chamakh is 3, and then the rest are options, and others no doubt will be added
