Fra det engelske forumet (må alltid tas med en klype salt):
Been a long time reader of this forum but first time poster. Just posting what I have heard from people within the club. Take it with a pinch of salt as I don't claim to be ITK in any way.
Very little leaks from Rovers nowadays. Gregg Broughton has made sure Rovers' business stays quiet and is doing a very good job of this so far.
Kiril Despodov is alive and well on the way to being a done deal. There is a fee involved (Don't ask me how much) Venkys have sanctioned this sale and there is money available. I have been told the money available is around 5 million but even they weren't 100% on this. No time frame on this.
Rovers are currently in talks with over 10 players and agents regarding deals (Some are free agents, some require fees). obviously not all will make it across the line but Rovers and Gregg Broughton are very active.
Danny Batth failed a medical at the end of the last week and therefore that deal fell through. I believe there was a nominal fee involved. (Sunderland)
It is expected that a team will come through with a reasonable offer for Kaminski and he will leave the club although the club would be more than happy to start the season with him still here. He will be replaced with a challenger for Pears.
The noise surrounding Tayo Edun has faded but the club is still looking to sell.
Travis will be sold if a decent bid is received but like Kaminski, if he chose to stay, he will get game time (albeit reduced)
It would take a huge bid for Adam Wharton to leave the club this summer. He will not be used in a part exchange deal.
The Raya sale will bolster the budget considerably although money player purchases do not rely solely on this.
Ben Brereton Diaz will sign for Villarreal on a huge wage. Rovers had no chance of competing financially.
